“Into the Darkness : Urban Explorers” by Melody Gilbert

After many years of waiting, after much anticipation and after a lot of efforts, yes, finally, for the very first time ever Melody Gilbert’s documentary “Into the Darkness : Urban Explorers” will be publicly presented in Montreal.

It will be the closing film (May 17) of the 3rd Montreal Underground Film Festival (www.muff514.com) and will be presented at the Main Hall at 5390, boul. St-Laurent (Montreal).

Party will obviously follow

The movie was shot in 2004, 2005 and 2006 in the States, in Scotland during Europex (the first urbex conference in Europe) and in the Paris Catacombs.

maZe will represent the movie but hopefully someone else will be there (wink wink at that special person - HELLO!!!!!)

Movie is in English. There will (unfortunately) be an entrance fee, which is to help support an independent film festival that receives zero funding for no one! So see it as your small way of supporting the local cultural scene, ok? Should be $5 - I’ll confirm this as soon as I can.

Le documentaire a été filmé en 2004, 2005 et 2006 aux États-Unis, en Écosse durant Europex (la première convention d’explo urbaine en Europe) et dans les catacombes de Paris.

maZe représentera le film mais espère pouvoir compter sur la présence d’un invité spécial (on se croise les doigts).

Le film est en anglais. Il y aura (malheureusement) un frais d’entrée, qui permet d’appuyer un festival de film indépendant qui ne reçoit pas une cenne de personne! Donc voyez votre contribution comme un moyen de soutenir la scène culturelle indépendante locale, ok? Ça devrait être 5$, je confirme aussitôt que je sais officiellement.
