Le 1er Février 1875, l’inspecteur des chemins, Patrick Macquisten, à qui le comité avait demandé d’examiner l’état du système d’égouts, dépose un document intitulé Report On The Drainage Of The City Of Montreal. Il y fait le survol de toutes les conduites constituant le réseau d’égouts montréalais, qui totalisent 120Km. S’y ajoute l’égout collecteur ________, dont la construction commencé 3 ans auparavant, est en voir d’achèvement. Destiné à égoutter l’extrême Est de La ville, il longe l’avenue du même nom (aujourd’hui _________). L’accroissement rapide des constructions au nord de ________, entre _________et _________, incite la ville à prolonger le collecteur _________ vers le nord, le long de la rue ________jusqu’à _________. De là, les eaux usées iront se déverser dans le fleuve jusqu’à l’instauration d’un réseau d’intercepteur qui débutent en 1970.

February 1 1875, the roadway inspector, Patrick Macquisten, to whom the committee asked to follow the condition of the sewer gave is report named Report On The Drainage Of The City Of Montreal. The document mentions every conduit in the sewer system of Montreal city, for a total distance of 120Km long. In addition, the new collector _______, begun 3 years before and almost done, will be draining the extreme East of the city. It follow the avenue of the same name, today called _______. The fast increasing of construction in the Northern part of Montreal, between _______ and _______, will be fastening the city’s workers to build the collector along the street ________ to _______. From there, the wastewater will spill to the St-Laurent River until the establishment of a new underground network called the Interceptor in the early ‘70.
